PMD-explorers Misssion 5 part 1

First day

Oh man, how do we end up like this? My name is Andy, I’m a Bulbasaur, and this is my partner Frank the Cubone, and we’re Team Wayfinders.

We came to Tao village for the first time. I thought it would be a cakewalk… but man, I wasn’t expecting something shocking experiences.

We were renting to apartment for the moment because there was this storm that is passing through the town; a blizzard storm to be precise. Is weird because why would be a snow in the middle of the summer, in the town where never been snow?  Seriously they should warn us about this storm… anyway, we been at the night at apartment until the storm has passed through. If only this apartment had a chimney, because I’m freezing in here!  

That evening, we were trying to get some sleep so we can wake up very early in the morning; it was a day that we were going to be a rescue teams. So many strong winds were making weird howling noises, it’s hard to ignore it.

“Frank, do you remember this town?” I asked.

To my trusty partner that he is a strong silent type, couldn't remember anything of the day I found him on Tao Lake. Just he remember his name and his moves.
 
Frank what happened to you? How did you forget everything?  I just hope that somewhere in this town, we’ll find some answers. We had been traveling from town to town, searching for some way to try and learn Frank’s past. I just hope our journey won’t be a very long one.

“Frank you know that I’ll always be there with you because we’re partners right?”  I asked, trying to talk to him again.

“… but what if we can’t find it?” Finally Frank replied.

“That’s what we’re here for. Don’t worry, there has to be a way to get your memories back. And hey who knows? If not immediately, then we have to meet the guild leader about reassignment to be an exploration team. So that’s first thing to do... Just have faith okay?” I explained and he was quiet for a while.

… I have a crazy idea that maybe we need to try finding a Pokémon that can go through dreams. I have to find a Munna or Drowzee to do that. If those two Pokémon can wake Pokémon from nightmares, can they awaken memories of the past too? I haven’t told Frank this yet. I still don’t know if this is true or not so I need some answers about it.

“Don’t worry there’s always a way”

“… I hope you’re right…”

Man, it’s a miracle that I found Frank. What seems like a long time ago when I still living in my hometown, I lived in Tao Woods. But I always go Tao Lake, mostly because I like to see a clear sky; it lets me see many stars.

I was heading to Tao Lake one that evening night when I saw something on the lake, something odd was drifting. Like a log. When I looked closely at it I discovered a Cubone floating in the lake!

I was panicking so much; I swam all the way to get what I later found out was Frank. I used my Vine whip to grab Frank and made it back to ashore… yeah, I was pretty good swimmer. I checked him to see if he’s breathing, I prayed to Arceus that he’ll be alive… and thanks to him that he’s breathing okay.

I shouted to him “HEY ARE YOU ALRIGHT?!”

I shook his body many times, and I keep saying, “Say something or move!” I mean I know that I have to do with CPR… but I would do that’s when comes to rescuing for ladies.

Then he open his eyes a little, looked at to me and whispered, “…moon” and he fell unconscious again… I was hastening of my life that I rescued him and all he could say to me was moon? Call me crazy but I made my best friend this way.

I call my brother if he can pick Frank up and went home. My parents were shock to see Frank, they call the Doctor and we put him on to my room. And just like what doc told me; he was suffering some kind of amnesia. He was lucking that he remember his name and moves only; like he was reset of his life.  And that’s why we’re on this journey, to find someone that could remember him and hopefully; he will somehow remember it.  My parents are okay with this mission. I promised them that I will always be looking out for Frank and here we are.

“I will always be look out for you, I promised you didn’t I?”I said to him.

He looked at me and gave me a smile that tells me that he knows I will. When everything was all set and we know of what we are going to do by tomorrow; something happened to us.

We heard a loud noise coming from outside. Before we knew it, we were lying on the cold surface of the frozen ground. I opened my eyes, and realized that we had been flung out of the apartment. The blizzard had grown even harsher, and we could see a pair of yellow eyes slowly coming in our way.

I tried to look for my partner, and luckily I found him, I saw a snowman that look like a Cubone’s shape. That was Frank. Those yellow eyes are getting closer to us so I used Grass Knot to try and slow him down at least.

I think he fell down, because the ground was shook.

“LET’S GET OUT OF THERE AND RUN FOR IT!!”  I yelled to him.

Frank shook off all that snow and we ran for it! I couldn’t see where I was going through this blizzard; I told Frank to stick close to me so we won’t lose each other. I have no idea where we are going, and since we are disadvantage for this cold weather; we’ll be freeze before we even make out alive! Then suddenly I heard this loud roar and ice beam came out of nowhere. It was those yellow eyes again.

“Frank, get behind me!” I shouted.

The yellow eyes use Ice beam again, and I used Protect to block it. I can’t always use Protect because as you all know; sometime Protect and Detect moves won’t always appear. We have no choice but to run away at this point.

This is really not our day. If that monster uses ice beam again, we will be turn into ice sculptures for sure. That yellow eyes monster starts to us that move again when someone attacks him. I don’t know who it is because it’s hard to see through this blizzard but all I could see was that he wears a pirate’s hat. Frank and I headed where that pirate’s hat is but then we heard this crack and well… we fell down a hole.

I thought I was dead already, Life flashes before my eyes. Suddenly I hit it on the ground when I notice that the ground was…. Soft. And furry too. I opened my eyes all I saw was a black hair with red lines on it. And smells like a wet paint. Then I realized: I was sitting on top of a Zoroark.

“WILL YOU GET OFF ME?!” She glared, yelling at me.

Okay I was going to say thank you and sorry about that but all I said was:

“You smell nice.”

…what? She startle me.

I was looking Frank and he’s fine too, he’s sitting on Smeargle… Poor guy I hope he okay. Anyway their names are Palette and Pal, Palette is a Zoroark and Pal is a Smeargle. We got off of them and we talked afterwards.

“Where did you guys come from?!” asked Palette.

“We try to get away from that yellow eyed monster and after that we fell to this hole and…. Well here we are now.” I said

“Well come with us, Devonshire will explain everything about Sorbet,” said Pal who had an odd accent.

Sorbet? Who is that?  I was going to ask them that question but I saw their eyes saying that they need our help so I nodded and we went deeper to the cave.
